01About This Special Issue

This Special Issue focuses on advances in experimental biochemistry and toxicology, particularly mechanisms of tissue damage caused by chemical agents and strategies for metabolic correction.
The primary goal of this special issue is to present interdisciplinary research covering biochemical, molecular, and physiological aspects of toxic injury. We invite contributions that explore toxicological biochemistry, with particular interest in oxidative stress, nitric oxide metabolism, and enzyme-based biomarkers such as lactate dehydrogenase.
We welcome original research articles and review papers. This issue aims to advance knowledge and promote development of effective strategies for prevention and treatment of toxic damage.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  1. Biochemical Mechanisms of Toxic Injury
  2. Effects of Food Additives (E171, E173)
  3. Oxidative Stress and Inflammation
  4. Nitric Oxide Metabolism
  5. Experimental Models in Toxicology
  6. Biomarkers of Tissue Damage
  7. Pharmacological Correction Strategies
